the work of jordan ewert
I was born in Osaka, Japan on December 9th, 1985 but only lived there for about two months. I lived in Peoria, IL until I went to high school in Austin, MN in 2000. The best experience from high school was my art classes like photography, drawing, and painting. There was not much difference in my art from everyone else until I took myself seriously senior year of high school. I was nominated for artist of the year but did not win because lack of experience. The understanding of having someone else win pushed me to work much harder and take myself more seriously. I graduated high school in 2004.
I got my first digital camera for Christmas in 2005. I began shooting photography constantly from early 2006 to present. It wasn't long until I realized photography was my calling and have been working ever since to perfect whatever it is that makes my work special.
