These are four new images from a new open series I’ve been contemplating for the last year or so. Not sure on how I would go about actually making something as banal as driving on the highway interesting. That was until I began working with layering again and more experimentation.
Here’s my thoughts on this series. It’s pretty simple really: so much of my life (and many others) are wasted away from driving… driving… driving. Do you honestly remember much of anything driving. In all of the hours behind the wheel how many of those minutes fade away into nothingness and can in no way be retrieved. Makes you wonder how memory works. Makes you wonder how memory is selective.
